The U.S. Congress passed an $2.2 Trillion economic stimulus bill, the entire bill encompassing 880-pages. The emergency is in response to Corona-virus (COVID-19) pandemic. Whether this pandemic was created or implemented...this bill should have included funding for families, communities and local businesses as well. This bill does not do this at all. According to the Congressional Research Service, the (COVID-19 stimulus bill should include “universal basic income; or UBI for all citizens. UBI is mandated by law to pay directing individuals and families and recipients such as Veterans, Security Security Income (SSI) recipients. However, the law also mandates Family Assistance Plan (FAP). FAP should guarantee unemployment compensation, wage replacement income; and income for low-income families and individuals.
